China Conglomerate Impressed by the State’s Devt.

KUCHING: A delegation from Hunan Canwa Boiscience Development Co Limited and Pan China-China Construction Group on a three-day working visit is impressed with the State’s well-planned and rapid development.
Both companies have undertaken major construction and engineering projects worldwide and have over 50 years of experience in handling mega projects. Hunan Canwa Bioscience Development Co.
“ We are keen to participate in the development of Sarawak and we are keen to play a major role in the future development of the State”, said Futang Liu, the president of Hunan Canwa Bioscience Development Co, Ltd., after a project site visit at the Independent Oil Terminal and a briefing Session by Assar Senari Holdings Yestarday.
“ The company has a good team of experts and engineers and is strong in the technical field in China, and has vast experience in the construction and agricultural industry.”
The visitors also briefed senior management of Assar Senari Holdings on their project portfolio.
Futang announced that the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHEDA) and country representative Heng KIeng Chong would coordinate future development projects and similar visits to Sarawak made by his company’s representatives.
The China delegation also met Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam, Land Development Minister Dato Sri Dr James Masing and Assar Senari Holdings Chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Bujang Nor.
